  • Silver has nine points toward his AKC Champion title and two points toward his AKC Field Champion title. He is a moderate example of a Borzoi male, standing just over 29 inches at the withers but unmistakably masculine with a full, wavy coat in apricot Irish marked pattern.

His refined head possesses breed typical and sought-after veining with high-set ears. Eyes present as caramel rather than the preferred dark brown. Scissors bite with full dentition.

A beautiful mover, this boy gets better with age! Excited to see him continue to mature and win in the conformation ring.

Silver placed third out of the American Bred class at the 2023 BCOA National Specialty, judged by longtime breeder Barb Ewing.

  • Markke has come to live with us from long time breeder Dr. Anne Midgarden of Téine Borzoi. He is a promising young male with a few brags already earned:

Markke placed second in his age group in the 2022 BCOA National Specialty, and at the November 2022 Potomac Valley Borzoi Club (PVBC) Specialty, Markke was awarded Reserve Winner’s Dog by breeder-judge Patti Widdick Neale. Markke again placed second in his class at the 2023 BCOA National Specialty, judged by breeder-judge Barb Ewing. At the May 2023 PVBC Specialty, Markke was Winner’s Dog/Best of Winners under judge Dana Cline for a 4-point major. At the November 2023 PVBC Specialty in Doswell, VA, Markke was again Winner’s Dog/Best of Winner’s under judge Red Tatro III for a massive 5-point major to complete his conformation championship title.

Markke earned his CH title at just over two years of age, ultimately through four majors earned primarily at Specialties or Limited Breed shows. Markke also has shown some keenness for lure coursing, so we look forward to seeing him run in more trials during favorable weather in 2024!
